My ideal client is someone who is struggling with the negative effects from being apart of high-control religion. Religious trauma and harm can cause many issues like (c)PTSD, sexuality and intimacy issues, existential crisis, grief and loss, as well as significant disturbance to relationships and social support. A safe place to process and critically think about their experiences within religion, as well as receive support in establishing appropriate boundaries, and learning skills and techniques to be successful and meet ones own needs are some of the frequent goals my clients have identified.
