Therapy isn't for everyone, yes I said it, but it's true. For therapy to be the most effective, the person is ideally in a place of readiness to become more aware of necessary change, willingness to do the work, and acceptance of themselves and of the fact that it isn't always easy, but it's worth it. My style is more person-centered, our sessions will be individualized and collaborative. We will be working together with open communication. I meet every client with compassion and understanding while also using evidence-based methods to help them navigate their struggles and/or achieve their goals.
