In my opinion, counseling should always start and conclude with kindness and a willingness to walk alongside a client through their experience. I feel that I have a genuine listening heart and a desire to see people find and live in peace and joy, which is why I entered this field. In general, regardless of a person's challenges or personal circumstances, I view every person as a distinct individual deserving of unconditional acceptance. I also implement motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy in sessions.
