As a counselor, I believe in having self-compassion as we all try and navigate the human condition. Life throws challenges at us that, at times, feel overwhelming and seem insurmountable. Be it unhealthy relationship dynamics, absence of intimacy and loving connection, loneliness and isolation, or loss of motivation, I believe that each individual has the capacity to overcome difficult circumstances and improve their relationships with commitment from themselves and their partner.
