Working in a crisis hospital has helped me learn how to help a wide range of people from young adults to folks with a few years under their belt. I work with people who may have never been in therapy before and help them learn how to trust a stranger with the scariest part of their story. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, substance abuse, and major life changes. I use fancy therapeutic modalities but make them feel natural and like you are talking with a coworker not with someone who thinks they know you better than you know yourself.
