Anxiety. Trauma. Communication patterns that won’t change. For individuals, I use EMDR and somatic, mindfulness-based therapy to gently reprocess what’s keeping you stuck. For couples, informed by the Gottman method, I help you break reactive cycles and work towards healthy communication. You may understand your patterns intellectually and still feel caught in them. Perhaps you overthink, feel chronically tense, or notice that the same arguments resurfacing no matter how much you try to talk them through. EMDR helps the brain and nervous system reprocess distressing experiences so they no longer feel immediate or overwhelming.
