I am a queer, fat, cis-gender woman, a divorced single mom, a therapist, a social worker, a community organizer, a birth and postpartum doula, an activist, a friend, and a member of many different kinds of families. All these identities, roles, life experiences have woven together to shape the unique perspective and philosophy that guides me. I am committed to the goal of liberation, individually and collectively. I am committed to finding ways to live life as our liberated authentic selves in a world that tries to shatter our identities, question our experiences, values and dreams.
