Avela Health's clinical experts offer autism diagnostic evaluations and play-based, family-centered therapy scientifically proven to deliver outcomes. Dr. Michelle Ficcaglia has been working with children and families for more than 30 years. Her passion is helping caregivers feel confident in supporting their neurodivergent children and in helping families build peaceful, happy homes. Michelle holds a BA in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College and a PhD in Special Education from UC Berkeley. Michelle uses a collaborative, practical, and solution focused approach in her work with families.
