Hello! I'm Jonathan Meza, LPCC, the owner and clinical director for Axolot Center Mental Health Counseling, a group practice in Alhambra, CA. Our areas of experience and specialty include working with depression, anxiety, disruptive behavior, phase of life adjustment, trauma, grief and loss, for teens and adults. Clients seeking to learn new coping and relaxation skills, insight building, task management, mindfulness, how to process trauma, and to improve interpersonal and communication skills would be best suited for the treatment we provide. We utilize EMDR, CBT/Trauma-focused CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. We also have experience with grief counseling, coping with life transitions, and support for immigrants.
