Hello, I'm Az (A-Z); I'm glad you're here! I am trans/genderfluid (nonbinary/masc)—queer, white, disabled, fat, chronically ill, & neurodivergent. In life, I believe in & value the healing power of connection & community. In my personal life, I am a lover of all things plants, gardens, & nature; a self-professed nerd AND geek; a “handy-queer”; & a dad-joke connoisseur. Professionally, my approach to therapy is trauma-informed, client-centered, strengths-based, & anti-capitalist/-colonialist. In sessions, I often utilize mindfulness, parts work, & somatic-based interventions, as well as music, play, art, & other creative endeavors.
