Dr. Barbara Bernbaum is a Licensed Mental Health counselor who has been practicing since 1984. She graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park Florida with a B.S in Psychology and an M.A in Counseling and Guidance. She received her Ed.D in early and Middle Childhood Development from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL 1989.Barbara believes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a foundation for clinical treatment - to challenge negative anxious thoughts with rational logical thinking, to help develop and implement new alternative productive skill strategies to manage worries and cope with life stressors.
