Hello to prospective clients. I've been in practice for over 37 years & treat children, adolescents & adults. As a generalist, I enjoy treating people with a wide range of presenting concerns, e.g. anxiety, depression, loss, life stressors, etc. I truly believe that everyone's life is an interesting story. Seeking therapy is an act of hopefulness & faith. It takes courage to open oneself to another in this way. As a longtime therapist, I would like to say that things can get better. I have training in a variety of methods, including psychodynamic, insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, & mindfulness approaches. I draw heavily on humanistic & Buddhist concepts.
