She employs Internal Family Systems (IFS) methods to help clients learn to understand their "bad actors" (personality parts that engage in impulsive or harmful behaviors), as well as those that manage the client's life and keep them out of trouble. Barbara facilitates clients' re-discovery of their own vast internal resources and with this, they begin to realize their authentic qualities and strengths. . . . . .
