I was trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and have since integrated cognitive behavioral methods into my work. I have had extensive experience working with people of varied cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds. I work with all age groups except children, as well as with all sexual orientations. I work with individuals, couples and families. My core belief is that when therapy works, regardless of the presenting issue, it does so because of the relationship that has evolved between me and those that come to me for help.
