Licensed in NY & NJ. Some clients come to therapy with specific goals for behavior change, perhaps in their relationship with food or substances. Others come to therapy looking to shift the way they talk to themselves or others. And still some come to therapy looking to experience reflection, validation, and compassion in a safe relationship, perhaps for the first time. I will help you identify your goals, meet you where you are, and move at your pace. I use a relational approach, which essentially means I believe the therapeutic relationship is many times the crux of healing. I also call upon skills-based therapy as needed. My current specialties include eating disorders, "personality disorders"/attachment trauma, and substance use. I also love working with people exploring their identity in relation to gender/sexuality, career, parenthood, and other facets of life. I particularly love working with the LGBTQ+ community and folks in midlife (ages 40-60).
