I am passionate about helping others overcome obstacles and take action in their lives. With my experience comes a deep understanding of how trauma, relationships, and culture can influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Major life transitions and unexpected events can overwhelm or destabilize the best of us and it's important that you can trust your therapist to be a steady support through your journey to wellness. I enjoy working with older students, young adults, career women, empty nesters, and anyone looking to find their identity, set boundaries, and feel more in control of their lives. I have over a decade of experience in mental health crisis, suicide ideation, and stabilization for adults and youth. I have lived experience with first responders and healthcare. My trauma informed practice uses a combination of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Center Theory, Attachment Theory, and Feminist Theory.
