In my practice I work with people who are struggling with issues that have come up in the course of their living their lives. In this work I focus on helping them take up their authority for their lives again. Together we will put these troubles into context and through understanding one's personal history and current experiences we can begin to resolve troubling thoughts, feelings and/or behaviors. I have over 15 years of experience. I began working at the Austen Riggs Center as a Mental Health Worker. While there I learned about how our past experiences impact present experiences. After Riggs, I attended Smith College School for Social Work and worked at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. More recently, I worked in college counseling.
