My goal is to help people achieve a better life for themselves and for those around them through a team effort. I use Trauma Informed Care, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and marriage counseling interventions through the Gottman Institute. My work in a medical emergency room, psychiatric hospital, county services and a suboxone clinic, has given me experience helping my clients to deal with trauma of many different kinds. One key ingredient is hope- For without hope there is no sense of what is possible. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the field for 20 + years. I am certified as a clinical trauma provider. I have training in addiction counseling. Working with individuals and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma (such as PTSD), mood issues, and relationships are other areas of my expertise.
