Hello, I'm Benji Marx, a board-certified music therapist deeply committed to harnessing the transformative power of music and verbal processing to help both children and adults navigate life's challenges and lead more fulfilling lives. In my specialization of creative arts therapy, I assist individuals in expressing their inner emotional world through music, fostering self-understanding and the processing of complex emotions. It is not necessary to be a musician or musical to participate in music therapy. I firmly believe that self-expression, creativity, and self-compassion are the foundations of a healthy life outlook. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with a compassionate and non-judgmental environment to facilitate growth and healing.
