I am an energetic, contentedly divorced woman in my mid-60's who knows how hard it can be to feel comfortable telling a total stranger about personal concerns. I value your trust in my professional intention to help you feel better about yourself and your life and to move beyond "just getting through each day". So much of our inability to enjoy ourselves and to find fulfillment in our daily lives is due to fear, shame, and/or challenges in "letting go" when faced with loss (whether it be a relationship, job, or a loved one's death). I believe every client who seeks therapy is courageous and has many, often undiscovered, strengths.
