About
When you are chronically exposed to perceived threats in your environment (i.e. illness, loss, financial insecurity) your nervous system becomes dysregulated and you may experience difficulty sleeping and/or concentrating, racing thoughts, tense muscles, lack of motivation and/or joy, and negative thoughts about yourself and/or the world around you. This is your body's way of trying to keep you safe. I have had the privilege of working with adult victims of abuse, military personnel, police/fire, and healthcare workers on the frontlines during COVID-19, and I have seen first hand the power of the human spirit. I use evidence based trauma treatment modalities (EMDR, CPT, DBT. solutions focused, strength based) to guide you on your journey in healing and discovering your authentic self.
