My name is Bethany De La Cruz. I received specialized training in child clinical mental health counseling through the world-renowned Center for Play Therapy at the University of North Texas, and am a member of the Ohio Association for Play Therapy. One of my passions is to provide a safe therapeutic atmosphere in which children can freely express thoughts and feelings and increase both self-awareness and self-regulation through play. I also believe in the therapeutic power of family and educators in the life of a child and strongly encourage their involvement in the therapeutic process.
