The world today can feel overwhelming and stressful, one of the most defiant ways for you to fight back is to care for yourself. In the words of Audre Lorde, "caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare." I meet with young people who are struggling with anxiety and depression. These struggles can manifest in personal relationships and problems in high school.
