I am Betty Rivera, a bilingual (English/Spanish-speaking) Licensed Professional Counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor. I am comfortable working one-on-one with individuals of all ages and varying levels of ability. My approach is non-judgmental, allowing me to help identify and analyze mental health needs while providing a supportive environment. Additionally, I specialize in exploring and recommending academic accommodations for individuals with learning disabilities, particularly for those attending college, to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed. View 5 Photos I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology, a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor's in Communication Disorders from Marymount Manhattan College. In my practice, I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, cognitive processing therapy, (CBT), mindfulness & person-centered therapy.
