I had my first rewarding experience as a client in therapy in high school. It was because of her that I went on to make my career in mental health. I think we spend much too much time obsessing over physical health when mental health is just as important and is often directly connected to your physical health. I look forward to working with you to identify the areas of your life that you’d like to see change as well as building the tools necessary to maintain that change. You deserve to feel safe and content in your life at all times. I hope you’ll give me the chance to help you get there because it is possible! I have worked with people who have experienced severe trauma, often turning to substances to maintain some semblance of balance. I’ve also worked with those who just need a quick adjustment. I often utilize CBT, DBT, and strength based approaches. I enjoy exploring past history, your future goals and love to help you solve the mystery that keeps you blocked!
