About
As the owner of Ruppert Counseling, my goal is to help you build meaningful change — on your terms. Therapy should be a space where you feel understood, thoughtfully challenged, and supported in examining the patterns that keep you stuck. I work with mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, anger, and relationship dynamics. My approach is active and collaborative, integrating psychodynamic insight with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to create a plan tailored to your goals and values. My approach to therapy is collaborative and experiential. I create a space where you feel respected, understood, and gently challenged. I integrate humor with evidence-based tools such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness to support change that feels grounded, practical, and aligned with your values.
