For 28 years I have worked with families in capacities as a counselor, social worker, school counselor and now a therapist. I specialize in traumatic events in one's life and am impassioned and focused on earning a Psy in Health Psychology. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices, tailored to meet the unique needs of each person. I strive to create a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore their issues, rebuild a sense of safety and empowerment, and work towards healing and growth. I utilize mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, EMDR, health psychology, and am trained in the Gottman Method in order to more effectively help couples.
