I take an active part in helping my clients recognize why they may engage in maladaptive behaviors and help them to move toward constructive ways of handling their life issues in more adaptive ways. I worked for three years in the adolescent psychiatry division at Cook County Hospital and have continued my interest and expertise working with adolescents. I also have extensive experience working with clients who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as I was a psychologist on a team working with children who had been physically or sexually abused.
