I work with patients who are highly motivated to overcome challenges and to gain meaningful self-discovery and self-development. My overall goal for patients is to promote real change, noticeable healing, and genuine insight (into oneself, others, and circumstances). I try to support and strengthen patients' coping abilities, while at the same time help them discover ways they undermine or self-sabotage their own success and well-being. I work to empower patients to develop themselves and to develop healthier lives and relationships over time. Change often takes more time than we wish it did. Therefore, I do not do brief therapy.
