Beyond being a therapist, I am a husband, dog-dad and former band and choir geek. As a therapist, I believe that our lives and experiences are shaped and formed by the people, experiences and places in our lives. Degrees, schooling and theoretical orientation are important, but they don't replace authentic human connection. I have chosen to focus my work within the LGBTQ+ community because of my own past struggles trying to find gay therapist with whom I felt comfortable and understood by.
