Children who experience trauma are at risk of many behavioral, social and academic problems. My job is to help them navigate and process their experiences. It is difficult for children to put into words things that they never should have seen or have happened to them. That is why I use art, sand tray and play as tools to assist a child through their trauma journey to healing.
