I truly enjoy creating a genuinely caring, non-judgmental environment to foster feelings of hope and confidence that things ARE going to get better. I’ve overcome challenges, setbacks, failures, deaths, etc. I try to use my life experiences, when appropriate, as well as my professional experience of about 20 years spent in multiple human service fields. Areas of specialization: caregiver burnout, geriatric issues, depression, anxiety, stress management, dementia/Alzheimer's (certified trainer of care providers), ADD/ADHD, young adults feeling lost, special needs, grief and loss, chronic health challenges, marital/family issues, etc.
