Hello, I'm Brent. My personal and professional philosophy is 'Every single one of us is shaped by the totality of our relationships. Those we love and those we hate leave their marks.' This belief is deeply rooted in my own experiences growing up in a functional alcoholic home. While there wasn't abuse, there was a noticeable lack of strong empathy and interest in my life, which has profoundly shaped my approach to therapy. I spent three years in the military, stationed in places like Boston, Thailand (where I enjoyed the best Thai food), and Washington DC.
