You may may be feeling misunderstood, too sensitive, and/or feeling isolated from others. Your child may be withdrawing from social support, having meltdowns, and becoming easily overwhelmed by transitions and task. As a parent, you may be feeling hopeless and helpless with understanding your child's big and intense emotions. You can feel and see that they are struggling but are unsure of ways to support them. I have significant experience working with children and adolescents who are experiencing feelings of loneliness, fear, and sadness. I am dedicated to building a relationship with you and your family that is supportive. We’ll work together to grow your self-acceptance, build upon inherent abilities, and quiet the thoughts that bring upon feelings of self-doubt. I draw from Psychodynamic and narrative therapy—while also using play, humor, art, and the outdoors to support growth in meaningful ways.
