As both a mental health professional and someone personally impacted by mental illness and addiction within her family, I bring deep insight, empathy, and authenticity to the therapeutic space. I understand firsthand how navigating a relationship with a parent whose mental illness went undiagnosed for decades can shape a child’s emotional wellbeing well into adulthood. I also understand the complex and often painful dynamics of supporting a loved one through addiction.
