I hold a psychodynamic and narrative approach to which I believe the client is the expert on their own experience. I believe in emphasizing client strengths and self esteem and I am heavily focused on building a safe environment that fosters collaboration with clients. I place a strong emphasis on a trauma and culturally informed approach that fosters both empathy and sympathy to better aid in enabling clients to feel seen in their experiences so that they can build a life they are eager to engage with.
