The clients I work with, their goals often include processing past trauma in a safe, trauma-informed way, building confidence and autonomy, exploring and affirming their identity, improving relationships, and finding ways to express themselves authentically in the world. They come to therapy because they want to feel empowered, understood, and supported in living life on their own terms, while being fully accepted for who they are. My ideal client is ready to engage in therapy that honors their whole self, including their body, identity, neurodivergence, and lived experiences, while actively working toward change and growth.
