Hi, my name is Venette, I’m a proud 20-year Marine Corps retiree, a disabled veteran, and a San Diego native. I recently completed two years working as a Military & Family Life Counselor at Fairchild AFB, prior to that, I worked in inpatient facilities. My areas of focus include anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and concerns specific to veterans. Having served in the military myself, I am deeply connected to this population. Through my own experiences—and those of my children, spouse, and fellow veterans—I have witnessed the unique challenges and psychological stressors tied to military life which can feel overwhelming and isolating.
