As a counselor, I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and meeting them where they are in their lives. I believe in working together to improve overall daily functioning and wellness along with restoring health after trauma and life’s difficult moments. My goal in therapy is to create a safe space to help clients enhance their stress management, advance their use of coping skills and communication skills, and reframe negative thought processes along with working through any history of trauma. I am very open to feedback from my clients as I want therapy to be as effective as possible for you. Treatment modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in individual and family counseling.
