I have been in the mental health field for 29 years. I have worked with children/adolescents, families and the adult population since 2000 providing individual, family and group counseling. There are several qualities that I feel I possess which has been beneficial in my quest to help others on their journey: empathy, discretion, patience, compassion, encouragement, self-awareness, open mindedness, flexibility. I have worked in many different settings including outpatient, residential, crisis, mobile crisis, nursing home, prison and private practice.
