Brooke Ballenberg is a licensed professional counselor specializing in addiction, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem and identity development. She identifies as Jewish, and has a deep appreciation for cultural and identity-related experiences. Brooke is particularly passionate about supporting individuals with this background, and welcomes clients from all cultural, spiritual and religious backgrounds. She earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University. Since graduating, she gained experience working in the criminal justice system at a court-mandated treatment center. Brooke currently works at Tranquility Counseling Service, and is excited to bring her expertise and experience to the Boise area. She employs evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to support clients in navigating challenges, healing from trauma, and building self-confidence.
