Bryan works at the intersection of trauma and relationships to help clients out of stuck patterns and into greater communion with their families, communities, and God. The wounds we carry, whether from our earliest attachment experiences, betrayals by a spouse, or life-threatening traumas, too often lead to life without the shelter of our loved ones, where we are “cold, alone, and helpless” (Sue Johnson). Van Der Kolk (2014), a renowned Trauma expert, describes the state of disconnection from others as the source of almost all mental suffering, which goes beyond the scope of psychiatric symptoms or diagnoses.
