My ideal client comes to me in the contemplation stage of change. They may be thinking about their career, relationships, lifestyle, mental health, etc. and seeking change in a positive direction. They need someone to actively listen and validate them while also not being afraid to challenge them. They have goals such as improving their quality of life, reducing or eliminating certain mental health symptoms, and developing more satisfying relationships with others. They want to create a positive relationship with a therapist and develop skills that they can apply to themselves and in their interactions with others.
