Hi, welcome to Rooted in Growth Therapy. I work with children (ages four and up), adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. When working with children, I focus on social emotional skills to help children and adolescents develop tools to identify and express their feelings, regulate their nervous system, set boundaries, gain smart decisions making skills, and thrive in relationships. I work to identify the systemic influence in your family system and guide you through interventions to promote positive change. I also offer incorporating Christianity and spiritual beliefs into therapy to support your faith based goals. Some topics we explore are anxiety, panic, depression, ADHD, OCD, divorce, self-harm, family reunification, communication skills, parenting, self regulation, and behavioral issues. I use a variety of modalities, including play therapy. Play therapy allows children to express their interests, worries, and strengths through music, art, nature, and literature.
