The therapeutic process is unique and sacred to each individual. An ideal client understands that therapy is not a cure, that they are not broken and must be ready and willing to become an active participant in their life. My role as a therapist is to facilitate and assist clients in their healing, growth and empowerment that occurs with increased self-awareness and acceptance. As a social worker, I will also encourage consideration of how your environment both can and cannot support growth and behavioral change.
