Humans are wired for connection, yet how often do you feel out of place or alone while surrounded by others? Have you ever told that something is wrong with you - whether because of a past trauma, unhealthy relationship, or a recent diagnosis that confirms your nervous system is wired differently than those around you. You are not defective and shame does not get the final word. I work with adults who have experienced previous trauma, constant critical messages, or unhealthy relationships, many of which have also been recently diagnosed with Autism or ADHD, and have been masking their entire lives.
