I enjoy working with teens, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are struggling with any level of anxiety or depression. As a social worker, I find it important to consider the larger sociocultural context alongside individual life experiences and familial patterns. Our fast paced, technology focused world often deprioritizes connection and joy. Many of us tend to put the world on our shoulders, but forget to care for ourselves. The pressure to "be successful" and fit society's expectations and timelines is a lot to carry. Rather than just managing this anxiety, we can figure out what goals and values are truly your own.
