My name is Curtis Au and I'm a licensed clinical social worker. I started Calm in a Storm, my private practice, to offer a relaxed, therapeutic approach to grief counseling and caregiver support. As the name implies, I see my role as being a calm and steady presence for my clients, helping them navigate times of loss, uncertainty and stress. Helping them move forward with greater knowledge, clarity and purpose. I do that by creating a safe space for my clients. A place of honesty, empathy and compassion.
