The Cambridge Institute for Psychotherapy Services and Education (CIPSE) is a warm, reflective psychodynamic group practice in Harvard Square. We offer individual, couples, and low-fee psychoanalytic therapy for adults across a wide range of identities, cultures, and life stories. In therapy, we work together to unearth the stories that have shaped you—some buried, some unfinished—and give them room to be told, heard, and reimagined. We welcome clients with out-of-network benefits and provide detailed monthly Superbills to support reimbursement and help you make the fullest use of your coverage. Our work is a space where complexity is embraced, vulnerability is met with empathy, and each story is honored as a thread of survival. We practice through a psychoanalytic lens, attuned to unconscious processes, early relationships, and the lasting echoes of the past on the mind and body, creating conditions in which meaningful and lasting change can emerge
