About
It is surprisingly difficult to know what you want. People think others have it all figured out (& maybe you’re trying to pretend you do), but in truth we face many obstacles to knowing ourselves fully. Or maybe you know what you want, but don’t understand why you won’t let yourself do what it takes to have it. You know what you need to do, yet can’t seem to do it. You don't quite know why you feel anxious/depressed or you think you might know, but aren't sure where to go from there. I can help you become differently aware (not the self-conscious, preoccupied kind you may already know very well) & have new choices as a result. I practice a form of therapy designed to help you know yourself better, improve your relationships (including with yourself), & increase your capacity to tolerate uncertainty. We can work on helping you access more emotional freedom from patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-criticism, & constant dissatisfaction.
